Many windows, large deck areas and a sheltered cockpit characterise the exterior of the new Sunbeam 42.1
Test Sunbeam 42.1

With the new centre-cockpit yacht, Schöchl Yachtbau wants to offer more space, more comfort, more storage space and more light and air below deck. The ship replaces the former flagship Sunbeam 44, which was built for 17 years

The ship was adapted to the more modern lines of the rest of the fleet. It was given a striking superstructure with plenty of window space, flush hatches, many windows and a larger cockpit.
With plenty of storage space, large tanks and spacious cabins as well as room for additional equipment such as a watermaker, generator and washing machine, it is specially designed for long voyages and a lot of time on board. The centrepiece below deck is the large aft cabin with its own access to the spacious wet room, which merges into a separable shower.
Despite being designed purely as a cruising yacht, designer Georg Nissen has equipped the Sunbeam 42.1 with plenty of ballast and a large sail area, which gives her considerable potential, as the test proved.
The high-quality construction and extensive basic equipment also make the price appear very competitive.
